Mediplast offers sterile non-woven suture strips designed to reduce the risk of infection, provide support to the edges of the wound and produce a better cosmetic result. Suture strips are available in two different designs: beige strips are elastic; and white strips are reinforced.
Wound Closure Strip Omnistrip
Omnistrip® wound closure strips are made from skin-colored polyester/polyamide non-woven fabric coated with acrylic adhesive. The wound closure strips can be used for atraumatic closure of small wounds and surgical wounds that heal primarily, as well as for protecting fresh scars. Omnistrip® wound closure strips have rounded ends, are adaptable and flexible. The strip is highly porous, permeable, breathable, and adheres well to the skin. Available in various sizes.
