Otologie

Ons hoogwaardige otologie‑assortiment omvat wegwerpzuigtips, oorspecula, scalpels en handvatten met zuigregeling. De zuigtips zijn gemaakt van medisch roestvrij staal en zijn kleurgecodeerd per maat voor eenvoudig gebruik. Met het unieke koppelsysteem van Mediplast voor zuigregelingshandvatten kunnen zuigtips tijdens een lopende ingreep of onderzoek eenvoudig worden verwisseld. Veel zuigtips zijn gehoekt voor beter zicht en om het werken met een microscoop te vergemakkelijken, en ze kunnen gemakkelijk worden gebogen zonder dat de zuigkracht afneemt.

Aural specula are cone-shaped devices designed for ear canal inspection. They are available in seven different sizes to accommodate a wide range of patients. These specula are intended for single, short-term use.

Intratympanic needle
Specially designed needle for safer and easier transtympanic injections to the middle ear. The needle is 90 mm long and has a specially designed sharpened tip end which is 2 mm long and holds an outer diameter of only 0,4 mm. The principle of “tube in tube” is used to create a natural stop against the tympanic membrane when injecting.
